How to Download the BitChute VPN on MacOS

  1. Download the Installer
    Click the download button The file should begin downloading automatically.
     
  2. Run the Installer
    Once downloaded, open the installer file.
    Note: Your device may prompt you with a security warning. If so, choose “Allow,” “Run anyway,” or temporarily allow installation from unknown sources.

Access System Preferences

Network Settings

  • From the drop-down menu that appears, select "VPN" for the interface and "IKEv2" for the VPN Type. Then click on "Create."

Server Address and Account Name

  3. Remote ID: Enter the server address provided by BitChute VPN.
  4. Username: Your VPN username
  5. Password: Your VPN password
  6. Check the box for "Show VPN status in menu bar" if you want to easily access the VPN connection from the menu bar.

Authentication Settings

  1. Click on the "Authentication Settings" button.
  2. Ensure "Password" is selected.
  3. Input your VPN account password.
  4. Click "OK" to save the settings.

Advanced Settings (Optional)

  • You can click on the "Advanced" button and configure additional settings if necessary, such as DNS servers or proxy configurations. Otherwise, leave this section as default.

Apply Settings

  • Click "Apply" to save your settings.

Connect to the VPN

  • To establish the connection, click on the VPN icon in the menu bar (it looks like a small "V"). Then select the VPN configuration you just created and click "Connect." You'll be prompted to enter your VPN account password if it's not saved.

Verification

  • Once connected, check your IP address to ensure you're browsing through the VPN server.

Download OpenConnect GUI

  1. Visit this link.
  2. Download the latest version of the OpenConnect GUI installer suitable for your MacOS system.

Install OpenConnect GUI

  1. Run the downloaded OpenConnect GUI installer.
  2. Follow the installation prompts, and agree to the terms of use.
  3. Once installed, launch the OpenConnect GUI application.

Open OpenConnect GUI

  • Launch the OpenConnect GUI application.

Add a New VPN Connection

  • Click on the + (plus) icon or navigate to File > New... > VPN to create a new VPN connection.

Configure VPN Settings

  1. Enter a suitable name for the connection in the "Connection name" field.
  2. Enter the server address provided by BitChute VPN. (Please ensure to add https:// before the server IP or server hostname)
  3. Choose the appropriate authentication type (e.g., username/password).
  4. Enter your username and password in the respective fields.

Save Configuration

  • Once you've entered all the necessary details, click on "Save" or "Connect" to save the configuration.

Connect to the VPN

  1. Return to the main OpenConnect GUI window.
  2. Select the VPN connection you just configured from the list.
  3. Click on the "Connect" button.

Enter Credentials (if prompted)

  • If prompted, enter your username and password in the authentication window that appears.

Successful Connection

  • Upon successful connection, you'll see a notification or status change indicating that you are connected to the VPN.

Disconnecting from VPN

  • To disconnect from the VPN, return to the OpenConnect GUI application and click on the "Disconnect" button corresponding to the active connection.

How To Setup OpenVPN on MacOS

Install OpenVPN software:

  1. Visit the official OpenVPN website and download the OpenVPN Connect Client for macOS: OpenVPN Downloads
  2. Follow the installation instructions to set up OpenVPN Connect on your Mac.

Extract the OpenVPN profile:

  1. Download the OpenVPN files from BitChute VPN files
  2. Locate the downloaded file (usually in the Downloads folder) and double-click to extract it. This should create a folder containing the OpenVPN profile file(s).

Import the profile into OpenVPN Connect:

  1. Open the OpenVPN Connect Client on your Mac.
  2. Click on the menu bar icon (looks like a gray circle) and select "Import" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Navigate to the folder where you extracted the OpenVPN profile file(s), select the desired profile file with the extension .ovpn, and click "Open" to import it.

Connect to the VPN:

  1. Once the profile is imported, it should appear in the OpenVPN Connect window.
  2. Click on the profile name to highlight it.
  3. Click the "Connect" button.

Enter Credentials

  • You'll be prompted to enter your username and password. Input the required credentials and click "OK" or "Connect."

Successful Connection

  • If the connection is successful, the OpenVPN Connect client will display a green icon, indicating that you are connected to the VPN.

Disconnecting from the VPN

  • To disconnect from the VPN, open the OpenVPN Connect client and click the "Disconnect" button.
